Dimitri Vlaanderen, Drums and Vocals
Hi!
I am Dim… drummer and the other half of the lead vocals. I do incidentally write a song as well.
I’ve known my fellow musicians and brothers from different mothers Pepijn, Nils en Olav for some time know, we used to play together in other formations.
With Pep I played in Molly’s Lips en Lunar, where we had similar roles.
I met Nils and Olav when I became their frontman and lead vocalist in Innerstorm.
I played in Luscious Lilly and Cockroach Avenue as drummer/vocalist before Nils and Olav asked me to join them again for another musical adventure.
The rest is history.
This band, being a perfect combination and culmination of all bands I have played with for so many years, brings all the stuff you need as a musician; challenges, great fun and beautiful songs.
Furthermore I’m still dreaming of becoming as great a drummer as my big inspiration and drumhero Mike Portnoy (maybe if I ever figure out what everything on my kit actually does).
So far, this band has been the most fun to play in since….well….ever!!
Now that our first album is done, i can’t wait to get started on the next one with my talented bandmates…….
